Dr. Cooper spent 16 years helping lead and build a cardiac surgery program. By the time he left institutional medicine in 2019, he had served as a medical director, worked in major health systems, and built a career grounded in surgical leadership.
His move into independent contract work was deliberate. It allowed him to continue practicing meaningful medicine with greater control over his schedule, his work, and the environments where his experience could make a difference. PRIME brings that practitioner’s perspective to the relationship between experienced clinicians and the healthcare systems that need them.
